BTS has finally completed their mandatory military service, with all members serving until June 2025. On July 1st, the group appeared as a full OT7 on Weverse Live, personally informing fans about their upcoming comeback, new album, and world tour plans. The response from fans was enthusiastic, and it felt like the long wait had been instantly rewarded.
While each member continues their solo projects and global promotions, preparations for group activities are also in full swing. J-Hope released his solo single "Sweet Dreams" with Miguel in March, and in June, he released a new song, "Killin' It Girl," featuring GloRilla. Their musical transformation, which crosses between hip-hop and pop sounds, was impressive.
There's also news that since mid-July, they've been focusing on physical training in LA while working on their new album. Jungkook, in particular, has been so dedicated to working out that he's even been praised by a local trainer as "almost a bodybuilder," and V is reportedly working out as well. Their determination to perfectly prepare for the stage as a group is palpable.
Meanwhile, J-Hope's encore concert video also included a scene of OT7 with all the members, leaving fans deeply moved. This scene, filmed naturally backstage at J-Hope's concert, made BTS's reunion truly come alive.
Recently, BTS Festa 2025 was also held, and it was full of various events, including fan events, special videos, and exhibitions. The festival itself seemed to signal preparations for a full return.
