A dangerous situation that recently occurred on BTS V's way to the airport is once again becoming a hot topic as he expressed concerns about unruly fans at the airport.

On July 4th, when V departed Incheon International Airport, the crowds were intense, with hundreds of fans and reporters swarming the area. Amidst safety concerns, V headed straight to the departure gate without striking a pose. Fans clashed and fell, and chants of "I've grabbed your hair," "Don't push me," "It's dangerous," and "Stop!" erupted.

V expressed his conviction regarding this situation, saying, "The airport isn't just ours. It's everyone's space, so we have to maintain order." V said, "It's such a shame that I can't even say 'I'll be back' at the airport like before and just have to pass by," and added, "I would be so grateful if you could make 'Purple Line' again."


"Purple Line" was a voluntary campaign initiated by BTS fans in 2018. Fans held purple ribbons, BTS's signature color, and maintained a certain distance to ensure the members' safe movement. However, this campaign has recently faded away.

V said, "(If the purple line is re-created) I think I could spend 10 more minutes thinking about what to wear to the airport," and added cheerfully, "No matter how pretty I dress, it's meaningless if I can't take a picture. If ARMYs keep order well, I could wear a suit to the airport," and emphasized the importance of safety.

If we hear news of an accident, it's not good for either of us.

I understand wanting to meet you up close and in person, but safety comes first.
