|Smart Today=Reporter Park Ji-hwan| Actor Byun Woo-seok recorded his first win in the male movie/drama category of the 5th week of July on Dishtrend, receiving 695,098 votes.

There was a fierce competition among fans to vote for Lee Jun-hyeok, who came in second place, with a difference of only 8,599 votes.

Byun Woo-seok gained worldwide popularity last year for his role as Ryu Seon-jae in the tvN drama "Seon-jae and Run Away." This drama propelled him beyond Asia to global stardom. After the drama concluded, he held a total of 12 sold-out fan meetings in eight cities, including Seoul, Japan, Taiwan, and Macau.

He is currently filming his next project, the MBC drama "21st Century Grand Prince's Wife" with IU. Set in a 21st-century Korean-American constitutional monarchy, he will play the role of Prince Ian, the second son of the king.
