[talk] DNA has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan for achieving 200 million cumulative streams.
The Recording Industry Association of Japan announced on the 28th that BTS's title song "DNA" from their September 2017 album "LOVE YOURSELF 承 'Her'" had surpassed 200 million cumulative streams as of July, receiving a "Double Platinum" certification in the streaming category.
With this, BTS now has their 6th 'Double Platinum' song. Previously certified songs are 'Dynamite', 'Permission to Dance', 'Butter', 'Boy With Luv', and 'Stay Gold'. The Recording Industry Association of Japan certifies songs every month based on cumulative streaming counts, dividing them into Gold (over 50 million streams), Platinum (over 100 million streams), and Diamond (over 500 million streams).
Even though it's a song from 2017, it's still consistently popular.
As expected, BTS's power is amazing.
