According to the agency Big Hit Music on the 4th, the music video for the digital single 'Dynamite', which was simultaneously released worldwide through the HYBE (Chairman Bang Si-hyuk) Labels YouTube channel on August 21, 2020, surpassed 2 billion YouTube views at around 9:16 am on that day.

With this, "Dynamite" has achieved another milestone by becoming the first BTS music video to reach 2 billion views. It has now reached 100 million views in just nine months since reaching 1.9 billion views in December of last year.

"Dynamite" is a bright and upbeat disco-pop healing song. It marks BTS's first English-language song. The music video combines an addictive rhythm with a cheerful and dynamic performance. Produced with a lively concept that captures a bright atmosphere, the video showcases the members' relaxed enjoyment of the music and their energetic choreography.

"Dynamite" also ranked 34th on Apple Music's list of the "Most Streamed Songs of the Past 10 Years" released recently. Along with BTS's other hit "Butter," the song is the only K-pop group to appear on the chart, further proving BTS's influence.

BTS achieved a monumental milestone with "Dynamite." The song became the first Korean artist to reach No. 1 on Billboard's main singles chart, the Hot 100, and held the top spot for three weeks.

It also won Best Song at the 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards and Top Selling Song at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. It also achieved the fastest-ever Diamond streaming certification (over 500 million streams) from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
