According to a report by the famous overseas fashion media outlet 'WWD', Jungkook attended the New York Fashion Week 2026 S/S season and led Calvin Klein, for which he is a global ambassador, to the top spot in social media influence.
Jungkook, who attended New York Fashion Week for the first time, demonstrated explosive buzz by generating 4.4 million engagements across the top five video posts on Calvin Klein's official account. Notably, a single Instagram post capturing his arrival at the event generated $825,000 (approximately 1.15 billion won) in media exposure, proving the power of the "Jungkook Effect."
On September 13th, when Jungkook attended, more than 1.3 million posts were created on X (formerly Twitter), and he was recorded as the 'most mentioned musician'. Christophe Asselin of Onclusive, a global PR analytics platform, analyzed the top 15 brands in terms of brand influence (SOV) during New York Fashion Week and revealed that Calvin Klein Collection took the overwhelming first place with 69.58%.
Additionally, among the 150 influencers and celebrities attending New York Fashion Week, Jungkook was the most mentioned on social media. He recorded a whopping 55.09%, more than double the number in second place (24.60%).
Jungkook dominated Fashion Week in hashtag rankings as well. #NYFW topped the list in terms of overall mentions, but #jungkookxcalvinklein (2nd), #jungkooknyfw (4th), #jungkook (7th), and #jungkookforcalvinklein (9th) swept the top spots, proving the fervent response of his global fandom.
