I believe one of the biggest reasons BTS is recognized as more than just an idol group, but as "artists" is the members' active participation in writing and composing their songs. Seeing the members' names in the credits of each album brings a great sense of pride to fans. Drawing on their honest thoughts and experiences to write lyrics and create melodies further enhances the authenticity of the music. Led by leader RM, the rap line members—Suga, J-Hope, and others—play a key role in album production and songwriting. The vocal line members also consistently participate in writing and composing, developing their own unique musical style. This goes beyond simply singing a given song, demonstrating their creative side as creators who create music themselves. Each time these self-composed songs, which tell their own stories, receive widespread acclaim, the members' dedication and talent shine once again. This active involvement in music production is the driving force behind expanding the depth and spectrum of BTS's music.
