Global supergroup BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour this April. This will be their first in about four years since "Permission to Dance on Stage," which concluded in Las Vegas in 2022.

According to their agency Big Hit Music on the 14th, BTS will kick off their world tour at Goyang Stadium in Gyeonggi Province on April 9th, 11th, and 12th. They will also perform in Busan on June 12th and 13th. Notably, the 13th also marks BTS's debut anniversary.

As of now, 79 overseas performances have been confirmed in 34 cities around the world. Big Hit Music stated, "This is the most ever for a single tour by a K-pop artist," and added, "Schedules in Japan and the Middle East will also be added in the future."

Finally a full world tour… How many years have I waited for this day?

I've been looking forward to it and looking forward to it again. It's nice to start in Korea.

I'm thrilled that this is my first proper world tour in seven years since 2019.

The phrase "K-pop's biggest ever" really sticks in my mind.
