[Edaily Reporter Bae-woon Lee] Jin, a member of the group BTS who was discharged from the military last June, is actively pursuing activities ranging from entertainment programs to music.
As his status as a 'world class' soars by sweeping various charts including music and topicality, the value of the houses he owns is also skyrocketing, drawing attention from the market.
According to the real estate industry on the 8th, Jin owns two luxury apartments in 'Hannam The Hill', located in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Jin previously purchased a 26-pyeong apartment in Hannam The Hill for 1.9 billion won in March 2018, and sold it 10 months later for 30 million won less, leading to the assessment that his financial skills are not all that great.
Then, Jin purchased an 86-pyeong apartment in Hannam The Hill for 4.49 billion won in July 2019, and in November of the same year, he purchased an additional 74-pyeong apartment for 4.28 billion won. Since then, the value of Hannam The Hill has risen rapidly, completely dispelling doubts about his financial skills.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s real transaction price disclosure system, the 86-pyeong unit in Hannam The Hill was sold for 9.55 billion won in February of this year, breaking the record high, and the 74-pyeong unit was sold for 9.3 billion won in July. The expected market profit alone is estimated to be around 10 billion won.
