BTS' influence on the U.S. Billboard chart has grown even stronger. While Jimin and Jungkook are showing off their solid popularity by becoming chart regulars, Jin's new song 'I'll Be There' has newly entered the upper ranks of the chart.
According to the latest chart for the 9th released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, on the 5th (local time), Jin's pre-released song "I'll Be There" from his solo album "Happy" took the top spots, including 1st place on World Digital Song Sales and 3rd place on Digital Song Sales. The song also settled in at 10th and 25th place on the Global (excluding the US) and Global 200, respectively, giving a green light to Jin's solo activities.
Jimin has been on Billboard's main album chart, Billboard 200, and song chart, Hot 100, for 15 consecutive weeks. His second solo album, "MUSE," ranked 139th on Billboard 200, and its title song, "Who," ranked 55th on Hot 100. Jimin's popularity continued on sub-charts, with "MUSE" ranking 4th on World Albums, and "Who" performing well in 12th place on Global (excluding US), 16th place on Global 200, and 46th place on Streaming Songs.
Jungkook is showing off his power on the Global (excluding US) and Global 200 with his first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' and the title song 'Standing Next to You' from his solo album 'GOLDEN'. 'Seven (feat. Latto)' has been on both charts for a total of 68 weeks. 'Standing Next to You' has maintained its ranking on the Global (excluding US) and Global 200 for 52 weeks and 46 weeks, respectively.
Along with this, BTS' anthology album 'Proof' has been on the World Albums chart for 125 weeks, and ranked 9th on this week's chart, maintaining its position in the top 10 for the second week in a row.
Meanwhile, Jin will be releasing his first solo album 'Happy' on the 15th at 2PM. Jin said that he put his desire to spread happiness to more people into his music.
The title track 'Running Wild' delivers a bright and warm message of running breathlessly toward hope. Gary Barlow of the British pop band Take That participated in the production. The last track, 'Geurium-e', is a song written by Jin himself, and it sincerely conveys what he wants to say to his fans.
