[All] BTS Jimin, won an award even in the military..'2024 MTV EMA' Best K-Pop Award

BTS member Jimin showed off BTS's status by winning 'Best K-Pop' at the 'MTV Europe Music Awards', Europe's largest popular music awards ceremony.

On the 10th (local time), the '2024 MTV Europe Music Awards' (hereinafter referred to as 'MTV EMA') selected Jimin as this year's 'Best K-Pop' winner. Following Jungkook, who was named the 'Best K-Pop' winner last year, this is the second year in a row that a BTS member has won a trophy in this category. 'MTV EMA' introduced 'Best K-Pop' in 2021, and BTS was listed as a winner as a team that year.

Jimin's second solo album 'MUSE' and the title song 'Who' released in July are still receiving much love on various global charts even after nearly 4 months since their release. This popularity seems to have influenced his 'MTV EMA' win. 'MUSE' and 'Who' have been charting on Billboard's 'Billboard 200' and 'Hot 100' for 15 consecutive weeks. They have also shown their global popularity by staying on the UK Official Charts for 16 weeks. 'Who' is still maintaining its 'Top 5' position at 4th place on the latest 'Weekly Top Song Global' (aggregation period: November 1-7) of Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.
