[All] BTS V and his pet dog Yeontan “Go on a long journey with each dog”
BTS member V's pet dog Yeontan has passed away.
On the 2nd, V posted on his SNS, “It seems like it’s been a while since I greeted you with a song. I have fond memories of the duet with my favorite hyung (Park) Hyo-shin, and the carol with Bing Crosby, whom I respect so much, that will be released soon. And before I know it, it’s already December this year.”
V then said, "Recently, Yeontan went on a long journey as a puppy," and "I thought a lot about how to tell you this, but I thought it would be right to tell all of you ARMYs who have shown me so much love so far, so I decided to share the news."
He continued, “I would be grateful if you could think of Yeontan once in a while so that he can be happy even in the stars,” and added, “I hope this will be a warm year-end where you can tell your loved ones around you that you love them once more. I hope you stay healthy until the day we meet again.”
V looked back on the memories he had with Yeontan while conveying his affectionate feelings. It was heartbreaking to see so many affectionate moments between V and Yeontan.
Yeontan is V's pet dog, and is famous among the general public as well as ARMY (BTS fandom name) to the point that he was introduced on portal site profiles. The cover of V's first solo album 'Layover' was also decorated with Yeontan, and he also appeared on stage with him for a solo song, drawing much attention.
Meanwhile, V enlisted in the active-duty army in December of last year and is currently serving in the Special Mission Team (SDT) of the Military Police Unit of the 2nd Army Corps located in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do.
