[All] "Aren't you tired of the K modifier?" BTS RM's response to a question from foreign media

When asked by a reporter, “Are you tired of the ‘ K-’ modifier?” RM said,

You might get tired of Spotify calling us all K-pop, but it’s a premium label.”

“It’s like the quality assurance that our ancestors fought and tried to achieve,” he answered.

“Korea is a country that was invaded, devastated, and divided in two. Even 70 years ago, there was nothing. We had to get help from the IMF and the UN ,” he said. “But now, the whole world is watching Korea.”

“How is that possible?” he said. “It’s because people are working really hard to better themselves. That’s how things work and that’s what makes K-pop so appealing.”

RM told the reporter who asked him this question, “You say, ‘You’re putting too much pressure on yourself when you live in a country like France or England that has been a colony for centuries. Isn’t life in Korea too stressful? ’” He added, “That’s part of what makes K-pop so appealing. Of course, there’s a shadow, but anything that happens quickly and strongly has a side effect.”

RM is really good at talking..
