BTS, Spotify's 'Most Streamed K-Pop Artist' for 7 Consecutive Years

BTS has been selected as the most streamed K-pop artist on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, for the seventh consecutive year.

On the 5th, Spotify released 'Wrapped' data that analyzed users' music consumption this year.

According to the data, BTS is the most-streamed K-pop artist globally this year with 3.9 billion streams. BTS has held the top spot in this category since 2018.

The members also placed seven songs in the top 10 most-streamed K-pop songs. The most-streamed K-pop song worldwide was Jimin's second solo album's title track "Who," followed by Jungkook's first solo single "Seven" in second place.

3rd place goes to 'Standing Next to You', the title song from Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN', and 4th place goes to 'Love Me Again', the title song from V's first solo album 'Layover'.

V's digital single 'FRI(END)S' ranked 7th, Jimin's solo debut title song 'Like Crazy' ranked 8th, and Jungkook's second solo single '3D' ranked 9th.

BTS also proved their strong presence on domestic charts. Jimin was selected as the most streamed singer in Korea for the second consecutive year. Jungkook (3rd) and V (5th) also ranked in the rankings, and as a group, they ranked 8th.

Jimin's 'Who' and 'Like Crazy' ranked 1st and 2nd most-played songs by Spotify Korean users.

The solo singles 'Closer Than This' and the English version of 'Rise Crazy' showed their power by taking 5th and 10th place respectively.
