BTS Jimin, No. 1 on Korean Spotify Artist Chart for 500 Days.. First and Only 'New Record'

BTS' Jimin shined with his unrivaled popularity on the Spotify Korea chart.

On December 7, Jimin ranked first on Spotify Korea's 'Daily Top Artist' chart, announced by Spotify, the world's largest music platform, for the 500th time, becoming the first and only artist to reach the top spot on the chart 500 times.

On Spotify Korea's 'Weekly Top Artist' chart, he ranked #1 for the 73rd time, and Jimin continues to break the record for most #1s on that chart as well.

Jimin's second solo album 'MUSE's title song 'Who' went straight to #1 on Spotify Korea's 'Daily Top Song' chart on July 19th, the day of its release, and has maintained the #1 spot for 144 consecutive days up to the latest chart dated December 9th, even without any official promotions.

The song that has been at #1 the most on the chart is Jimin's "Like Crazy," the title track of his first album "FACE," which has been at #1 for a total of 268 days. Jimin now holds both of the top 2 records, with "Who" staying at #1 for 142 days.

Jimin has broken the record for the artist with the most #1s on Spotify Korea's 'Daily Top Song' chart, having achieved a total of 446 times at #1. According to Spotify's '2024 Wrapped Year-End' campaign announced on the 5th, he has been crowned the most streamed singer in Korea for two consecutive years from 2023 to 2024.

Jimin's "Who" and "Like Crazy" were ranked 1st and 2nd most-streamed songs by Spotify Korean users, while "Closer Than This" and "Like Crazy English Version" took 5th and 10th place respectively, with four of Jimin's songs in the "Top 10." Thanks to this, the "Muse" album topped the domestic most-streamed album year-end chart, dominating Spotify's domestic year-end chart as well.
