Global super group BTS member and pop star Jungkook won two awards at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), one of the three major American pop music awards ceremonies.

According to the list of winners announced by the organizers on the 12th (local time), Jungkook won the Top K-Pop Album for his first solo full-length album "Golden" and the Top Global K-Pop Song for the album's title track "Standing Next to You" at the "2024 BBMAs."

In particular, Jungkook has won the 'Top Global K-Pop Song' award for his first official solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' at the '2023 BBMAs' last year, and this is his second consecutive year receiving the award in the same category. This achievement is all the more meaningful as it was achieved while Jungkook was serving in the military.

Jungkook was nominated a total of six times in five categories at the '2024 BBMAs' on this day. Unfortunately, he did not win awards in the 'Top Song Sales Artist' and 'Top Selling Song' categories.
