[All] BTS V's 'Sweet Night' Selected by Billboard Korea as 'OST That Brings Back a Drama Just by Listening to It'

BTS V's 'Sweet Night' was selected as 'Korean drama OST that reminds you of a drama scene just by listening to it', joining the ranks of classic songs that are loved even as time goes by.

'Sweet Night', released on March 13, 2020, is an OST for the drama Itaewon Class. 'Sweet Night' became a stepping stone for V to further solidify his musical world as a singer-songwriter, as he not only sang the song, but also wrote the lyrics, composed the song, and produced it.

TIME in the US praised his abilities as a singer-songwriter, saying, "'Sweet Night', which V wrote, composed, and produced himself, stands out with V's deep voice and warm melody that go well with the sweet acoustic guitar melody."

After its release, 'Sweet Night' simultaneously topped the iTunes Top Songs charts in the US and UK, and entered the real-time No. 1 spot on domestic music charts, as well as sweeping music charts in various countries, marking the beginning of a series of great records. 'Sweet Night' is also the first song to reach No. 1 in 119 countries on iTunes, breaking Adele's previous record of the most No. 1s.
