BTS' Jimin generated surprising revenue in the United States in 2024 with the title song 'Who' from his second solo album 'MUSE'.
According to the 2024 SONG REVENUE year-end chart released by 'Hits Daily Double (HDD)', Jimin's 'Who' earned a total of $1,854,178 in revenue in 2024, ranking 28th on the year-end chart.
HDD measures how much revenue each song generates in the U.S. music industry. "Who" earned $119,198 in sales and $1,734,980 in streaming in 2024, generating a total of $1,854,178 in annual revenue (about 2.65 billion won) on the "Song Revenue" year-end chart.
Having achieved such remarkable success in less than six months since its release, "Who" is the first and only K-pop solo song to enter the chart. It is the second-highest-charting K-pop song overall, behind BTS' "Butter," and the third-highest-grossing K-pop song of all time.
'Who' is the highest-grossing Asian song and the only song to enter the 2024 'Song Revenue' year-end chart, once again proving Jimin's unrivaled presence in the American music market.
Meanwhile, Jimin's "Who" ranked 33rd on the HDD Overall Streams Year-End 2024 chart, which only counts streaming, with 381.5 million streams. "Who" is the first and only Korean song to appear on the chart, and is also the Asian song with the most streams in the U.S. in 2024.
It's amazing. Jimin is a person who is properly promoting the national prestige.
