BTS member Jimin drew a picture of himself returning to the group while sending New Year's greetings for 2025.

On the 29th, Jimin sent his greetings on the fan platform Weverse, saying, "ARMY, this is Jimin. I enlisted in December of the year before last, and two years have already passed in the blink of an eye. I've been serving in the military for about a year and two months, and yes... time really seems to pass differently here."

He said, "It's not easy, but there are still things I feel and learn, so I'm looking forward to the days when I can have a fun conversation with you all about what happened so far." He also shared his current situation, saying, "Well, my daily life hasn't changed much. After all, since it's the military, I go to training, do my work, exercise, and before I know it, a day passes and time goes by again. I live the same daily life."

Jimin said, "If there's one thing different, it's that the conversations Jungkook and I have before going to bed have changed a lot since the year changed. As the days until we can meet ARMY are getting closer, we've been talking a lot about what we need to prepare for when we meet again, what kind of appearance we'll show in the future, and what kind of life we'll live in the future."

He continued, "Actually, I do feel a little scared. It's been quite some time since we performed together and it's been a while since we devoted all our time to the stage and music, so I'm a little scared.

"My determination to present the best stage for all of you who have waited for me will not change. I will prepare hard, really... I will work hard. I will return with a really good image," he said, expressing his determination to resume activities after his discharge.

Jimin is currently serving in the army as an active-duty soldier, having enlisted alongside member Jungkook in December 2023. He is scheduled to be discharged in June.
