[OSEN=Sun Mi-kyung] BTS member Jin has once again surprised everyone with his athletic skills that surpassed expectations.
On the 19th episode of BTS's own entertainment show 'Run Seok Jin', which was posted on BTS' YouTube channel at 9 PM on the 28th, Jin and Beomgyu of TXT challenged themselves with gymnastics. The two, who learned the horizontal bar, rings, and trampoline from 2012 London Olympics gymnastics gold medalist Yang Hak-seon, surprised everyone with their outstanding athletic ability and made viewers laugh with their explosive entertainment sense.
In particular, Jin caught everyone's attention with his skills that rival those of other athletes, to the point where he was evaluated as "the athletic talent stolen by K-pop." In the previously aired "Goodbye Seok Jin" episode, he surprised mixed martial arts fighter Kim Dong-hyun with his physical strength and power comparable to that of a world-ranked number one boxer, and this time as well, he drew admiration from everyone with his outstanding athletic skills. Jin successfully performed the difficult technique of holding onto a horizontal bar, doing a chin-up, and doing a 360-degree spin in one go, receiving special praise from Yang Hak-seon, who said, "That's perfect. You did really well."
In addition to his outstanding athletic skills, he also caught attention with his warm-hearted way of taking care of his juniors. Jin showed off his warm chemistry with his seniors by taking care of Beomgyu during a competition where he could leave work early. Beomgyu, the second TXT member to appear on 'Run Seokjin' after Yeonjun, said, "I was half excited and half worried, but I'm so grateful that he took such good care of me. I'll bulk up and come back, so please call me again."
The next episode of 'Run Seok Jin' will be filled with a 'funny lineup' including comedians Shin Bong-sun, Lee Yong-jin, Heo Kyung-hwan, and singer and musical actor Seo Eun-kwang. Episode 20, which will feature legendary games such as Tray Karaoke, Kung Kung Tta, and X-Man, will be released on the BTS YouTube channel at 9 PM on the 4th of next month, and can be viewed on the global super fan platform Weverse an hour later.
